With overtime turned on, hours beyond 40 in the week are paid at 1.5×. Overnight shifts are handled automatically — if the end time is earlier than the start, we roll it to the next day. Enter unpaid breaks in minutes so lunch isn't counted as worked time.
How it’s calculated
Daily hours = (clock-out − clock-in − break); overnight shifts roll to the next day. Pay = regular × rate + overtime × 1.5 × rate (over 40 hours/week).

Worked example
Five 9-to-5 days with 30-minute lunches total 37.5 hours; at $20/hr that is $750 of gross pay.
